A sacrament is "an efficacious sign of grace, instituted by Christ and entrusted to the Church, by which divine life is dispensed to us through the work of the Holy Spirit." -Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC)
Baptism
"Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit, and the door whih gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission." CCC 1213

If you are an adult and have not been baptized you are en,couraged to contact the parish to speak with Father.
Confirmation
"By the sacrament of Confirmation, [the baptized] are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit. Hence they are, as true witnesses of Christ, more strictly obliged to spread and defend the faith by word and deed." CCC1285
Confirmation preparation for youth is typically done as part of our faith formation program. Any adults that have not been confirmed are encouraged to call the parish office to speak with Father.
Eucharist
"The Eucharist is 'the source and sumit of the Christian life.'... For in the blessed Eucharist is contained the whole spiritual good of the Church, namely Christ himself, our Pasch." CCC 1324
First communion preparation is part of our faith formation program and is typically done in second grade. Any who are older than second grade and have not received First Communion, please contact the parish office to speak with Father. Please see our home page for mass times.
Confession/pennance
"Those who approach the sacrament of Penance obtain pardon from God's mercy for the offense committed against him, and are, at the same time, reconciled with the CHurch which they have wounded by their sins and which by charity, by example and by prayer labors for their conversion." CCC 1422
Preparation for one's first confession is done in second grade faith formation. Any beyond that age who have not made their first confession may contact the parish office to speak with Father. Please see the home page for confession times.
Anointing of the Sick
"By the sacred anointing of the sick and the prayer of the priests the whole Church commends those who are ill to the suffering and glorified Lord, that he may raise them up and save them. And indeed she exhorts them to contribute to the good of the People of God by freely uniting themselves to the Passion and death of Christ." CCC 1499
The sacrament of the anointing of the sick is for anyone with a significant health issue. Please contact the parish office if you or a loved one desires this sacrament. For emergencies outside of normal office hours, please call 701-220-0240.
Marriage
"The matrimonial covenant, by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life, is by its nature ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring; this covenant between baptized persons has been reaised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament." CCC 1601
Engaged couples must contact the parish office to begin marriage preparation at least nine months before the wedding date.
Holy Orders
"Holy Orders is the sacrament through which the mission entrusted by Christ to his apostles continues to be exercised in the Church until the end of time: thus it is the sacrament of apostolic ministry. It includes three degrees: episcopate, presbyterate, and diaconate." CCC 1536
